I agree with MagicalHelmet: app advertises 1st 56 elements, but it doesnt seem possible to get past 44. If Id paid for the app, Id be upset, but as it is I can only be perturbed. In any case, you owe it to yourself to check this app out.

This is what games should be! games like doodle devil are completely worthless.
Should show correct electron orbitals - not just electrons flying around. Decay processes are not very realistic.
Cool game, plus helps understand what is going on with the periodic chart. I could of used this in 7th grade science 27 years ago
Absolutely brilliant!! If you enjoy science at all, this is a must have app. Very addictive and visually mind blowing!
I give props to one of a kind but wow graphics are fast!!! Too fast! Needs a speed control or timing adjuster :l other than that, its totally Picasso beautiful.
I liked this app and his educational pourpose for visualisation of the interaction of protons, neutrons and electrons. I would like to suggest to include explanation of the decay process and how / why the atom is instable and what need to be done to stabilize it naturally and artificially. But the app is amazing!
Its alright if you like atoms, but if you dont, dont get it!!!!
I love this app. Ive used it to explain the periodic table to my grandkids and they really enjoyed it
I love this app, but when I try to discover more elements after Ruthenium, it says I need to upgrade to explore more. I still have the rest of the slots left as well. I havent yet discovered the first 54, only all up to Ruthenium.
I like the app, its pretty and its more realistic than kids alternatives like Toca Labs. But now that Ive realized the decays are not scientifically accurate (I never saw an alpha decay), Im no longer interested. Im a college physics professor and would have used this in my classroom - but not if the decays are wrong. And I dont understand the reviewers apologizing that reality would be "too difficult to implement" - do it right or go home.
I LOVE IT!!! But it gets REALLY HARD!!
I love this app however it would be nice if there was some more info as to why elements became unstable other than that I am very happy that at least someone is interested in sharing their understanding of physics with the world,, great job.
I have the same praises and gripes as others. The visuals of the app are great. I plug the ipad into the projector in my classroom and the ability to change elements in real time and switch between Bohr and 3D view is a great teaching tool. However, many of the facts need correcting. Lead is "still sometimes used to make bullets in fire-arms?" One, sometimes? Two, whats a fire-arm? Like, a firearm? Todays lesson. Dont make something for education... incorrect.. You simply cant get away with it. Unacceptable.
This is fun and informative, but could be better. One thing I would really like to see are the different forms of decay. For example, H-3 (Tritium) decays into He-3, not H-2. This would be really impressive with the heavier isotopes and their decay chains. Isotopes such as Cu-64, which decay by more than 1 mode, can really bring science to the plate by randomly choosing which decay mode to implement. If these features were added, this app could easily be worth the $.99 add-ins.
This app is pure magic that transports you into the subatomic world of magic! You can manipulate/ pair numbers of subatomic particles with each other to form the various elements and to make stable/non stable isotopes and see them decay right before your eyes! 5 stars.
Very cool graphics and design
I think that you should have the ability to turn of the atom decay. Please consider this and implement this thank you.
You have chemistry class or a carrier. Say u need to learn all the element this is the way to do it. I think its worth the price. I use it all the time and Im just in high school, I bet this will even be more helpful at collage. GREAT JOB for everyone that helped make this app!
In my opinion, the description of each elements could be expanded to include things such as... Density Common ions Applications Hardness Modulus ratings Natural isotopes and percentage composition Other basic info like that...
